Seabrook was recommenced to us friends and we decided to check it out for an early family Christmas. Seabrook had a lot of unknown pressure, because honestly, our group had very high expectations of it. To our delight it not only met, but fully exceeded our expectations. Within minutes of arriving into town, (in a dark, torrential downpour with no cell phone service or working map) we knew we loved this place and would most definitely be back. Even though it was pouring, there were still very friendly, dedicated dog owners out walking who happily directed us to our home for the holidays. The whole town and neighborhood was decorated with lights (and the fact that the hue of the lights all matched for consistency was not lost on me) and subtle, yet classy decorations. It was straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Every shop was lined with real evergreen garlands and red bows. Everywhere you looked was more quaint and perfect than the last. Every shop had the nicest people working there, and people waved and said hello when driving by as we walked the neighborhood. The sense of community was very strong.
Our group consisted of 12 people and we were all very comfortable in our 3 story home. We had 9 adults, 2 kids and an infant, and we weren’t crowded at all.
The sun came out one day and we all got a chance to drive on the beach, which most of us hadn’t experienced before. And the impression the sunset that night left on us will not be soon forgotten. It was incredible and every second the colors got better and better.
Seabrook gave us one of the best holidays we’ve ever had and helped us create incredible memories with our loved ones.
