Shaking the city off and relaxing in Seabrook is what I look forward to the most in summer. I tell everyone one of the best parts of Seabrook is that you park your car and you don’t have to drive again until you leave! This was my fourth year returning to the charming Seabrook community. The first year was with my now ex-husband & three children. The second, with a friend, her daughter & my children. Last year was a trip with my children and I. This year feels like the best year yet bringing my new love and children and running into long-time neighbors who were staying at Seabrook on the same days. My children are 10 & 13 ready to have a sense of independence & Seabrook offers room to explore, ride bikes, shop for candy and grab an ice-cream all on their own! Having the freedom to do their own thing whilst meeting up for some boogie boarding & dinner makes it an idyllic spot for my family. Their favorite Seabrook memories are: cruising through the community on their bikes, boogie boarding, beachcombing, shopping at The Sweet Life, swimming in the pool and this year they can add dancing at the outdoor concert. In year’s past we have created mosaic stepping stones, schemed up an amazing s’mores recipe for the S’mores contest, hung out playing the jumbo games and always we catch the spectacular sunsets. Every year there’s a tradition to re-visit and a new memory to create. My favorite Seabrook memories this year were: wearing a wet suit for the first time and attempting to boogie board! Surf’s up! My love and I walked through trails, rode our bikes, ate lots of ice-cream and took in some incredible sunsets; romance was in the coastal air. Now my new love is a Seabrook fan and looks forward to returning to ride some of the bike trails and indulge in those incredible Sweet Life Ice-Cream sandwiches. Seabrook is picture-perfect.
