My husband and I wanted to plan a fun anniversary and birthday month for both of us in November 2011. We knew the beach would be a great place to be so after much research we chose Seabrook. We booked Ruff Seas because we have 2 yellow labradors and wanted to include them in our special celebration month. The house was just perfect!
We fell in love with Seabrook! We walked the neighborhood over and over and spent lots of time on the beach. We happened to have great weather so the beach was wonderful. We had a picnic lunch and enjoyed watching our dogs loving the beach and fresh air. They ran up and down the beach with huge smiles!
In January 2012 our dog Cody was experiencing pain in his front leg and was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. He had to have his leg amputated to relieve the pain and eliminate the tumor. (Cody is still with us – nearly 6 years later.)
Seabrook then had more meaning for us – the joy Cody experienced in November 2011 was going to be repeated over and over. Since November 2011, we have come back to visit many times bring family and friends to see the joy of Seabrook. The last night we were in Seabrook – December 2016 was so beautiful – celebrating the joy of the Christmas season and the the joy my family continues to experience while at Seabrook. Cody is not able to walk far anymore but I wanted to have him enjoy his stay so I drove him around the neighborhoods. He loved it. We were at a home on the beach so Cody was able to enjoy the short walk and hang out on the beach.
Seabrook will always have a special place in our hearts!
