My husband Gene, my daughter Denise and our daughter Malizza go often camping at Pacific beach state park and surround state parks. We camp since our kids where babies. We love that park bc it’s so close to the ocean, plus we love the kite fest, town parade, the little stores and just getting away from home and work lol. my husband and I love to adventure out bc we want to move to the coast when we retire in about 12 years. ( our oldest daughter/ her husband and their 3 month old daughter living right now in port orchard). So we always love to find places possibly to move to bc we love the ocean, beaches, fishing, getting away from the city) And many years ago at a visit at pacific beach we drove around and notice trees being cut down, land being leveled etc and notice the first homes starting to get build. I believe that was in 2004, i remember our you our oldest daughter was 16 and our youngest was 2 years old. Then the following year we went back and saw more houses getting build. So we stopped into the town hall and checked it out. And found out that some businesses like restaurant, kids play area and a pool house will be build in the future too. Then we didn’t stop by for a bit bc of some reasons but then two years ago and last year we drove by and needed to drive around and even stop and check out some precious buildings and restaurants. We were amazed how fast Seabrook grew. Seabrook growing so big in all these years is so AMAZING bc my family and I saw it when it was just a flat land being worked on and some houses being build and we saw and heard about the plans what will be built. We always talked and thought about moving there because we love all the different houses but how fast Seabrook is growing, we are not sure what happens in 12 years and mostly the prices bc we know prices going up. But never know. We hope we can stay in one of those vacation homes in the future and get a feeling when we retire how fantastic it would be to retire there.
