My husband and I live on the East Coast and two of our sons live and work in Seattle. We miss them. We found Seabrook, a place to “time out” and “catch up.” A place we could be under one roof in the beautiful Northwest. Their two gals joined us, and we cherished the time to get to know them more. One is now our daughter-in-law and the other we hope soon to be. Even in the damp part of day, we enjoyed the unique beauty of the Pacific Northwest Coastline. Our dogs ran, and we stood in the grandeur of the expansive beach and skyline. Simple fun in extraordinary beauty. The kind that includes walking for morning coffee, sipping wine on the porch of our quaint rental home, and exploring the color that makes up all of Seabrook. The outdoors is enough of a gift to make Seabrook special, but the inviting homes and walkability to central downtown shops and restaurants made us feel at home. Seabrook is a treasure tucked inside the tall pines and spruces of Washington and brushed up alongside the splendor of the Pacific Coast. I can still see you, Seabrook, all the way from here on the East Coast.

Digital images and video links can be submitted using the online entry form. Images must be no smaller than 800 by 600 pixels. File sizes must be less than 5 MB per image. Entries may be color or black and white digital scans (no allowances will be made for poor-quality scans).

Minor digital enhancement is permitted, but images that have been significantly modified or appear unnatural will be disqualified.

Please note that our.seabrookwa.com does not allow names, logos or writing on photo entries. These markings must be removed prior to submission.

Not Permitted:

No borders or frames may be added to images.
No watermarks, signatures, or copyright notices may be added to images (winning images will be displayed with the photographer’s name).
Adding or replacing elements in an image is not permitted.

Permitted Modifications:

Images may be cropped and rotated as necessary as long as the rectangular format is maintained and the size is within the specifications above.
Images may be resized as long as the aspect ratio is maintained.
Red-eye removal and spot editing.
Use of filters to sharpen, soften, blur, despeckle, or remove noise.
Use of corrective functions to improve the natural appearance of the image, such as levels, contrast, brightness, curves, intensity, tone, hue, saturation, lightness, value, color balance, and tint.

Photos that are sexually explicit or offensive in any way will not be accepted or displayed on the website.
