My sister who lives in Boise flew out for long weekend. Myself, my sister, and of course the dog decided to plan a quick weekend getaway to a peaceful, relaxing, and fun place on the water from all the hustle and bustle of our busy daily lives. I heard how nice Seabrook was from a colleague so we went online searched through all the great properties, picked one, booked our trip, and packed up to head out the following day. After hearing we booked a trip out to the coast with a quaint cottage my son devised he was coming out as well. Upon driving into town we were pleased to see everything just as posted on the web page and our excitement grew. And to make things even better it happened to be the weekend for Savor Sesbrook. Our cottage was absolutely perfect and had everything we and even the dog needed; all we had to do was bring ourselves. We enjoyed the wine and seafood festival, walking and riding our bikes to town for lunch and dinner, looking through the shops; especially The Satly Dog, picking up a few things from the market, and of course the sand an sun. We couldn’t get ourselves or the dog off the beach. Each evening we enjoyed sitting out by our fire pit with S’mores and relaxing in the hot tub. Inside we had a blast playing games and building a great memory. Everyone around was so friendly and relaxed. We enjoyed coffee at the bakery on our final day and departed saying we will definitely be planning another trip and even stopped by the open house to see what ownership of a cottage would entail. After returning home my neighbors were out in their yard and asked about our trip and we said, “you absolutely have to plan a trip out there, it was just as we had hoped, we didn’t want to leave”. We hope to be able to come back for dog days in June! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
