We came to Seabrook together, to celebrate our love. We brought our family friends and everyone we had grown to love in the 10 years leading up to this moment. A warm early June day, something to be cherished not counted on allowed guests to sit under the warmth of the glowing sun as I walked down the sand to my soon to be husband. Reading our vows cemented that moment eternally in my mind, along with the place along the beautiful Washington coast and my family and loved ones. I spent the most important day of my life under the sunshine among the playful waves as I became a Mrs. It all happened so fast suddenly we were on our way to the reception, alongside a team of marathon runners who were crossing the finish line at Seabrook, we proudly crossed the finish line as well before sitting down at the Town Hall for pizza and dancing. Frontager’s Pizza had hot pizzas ready at every table and the bartender kept the bubbly cold, Knowing that everyone in the room was there to celebrate our love made me appreciate every giggle and every hug. We danced the whole night through until it was time to bike home, down the hill and across the street, moments later we were home sweet home to our Seabrook bliss. We took off our heels and slipped into bathing suits so we could stare at the stars and marvel at the beauty of life. My favorite part of my Seabrook wedding is that my time with my guests didn’t end at the ceremony, nor at the reception, not even the after event. We had lunch the day before and we had brunch the day after, my love celebration was able to be stretched out for an entire weekend of friendship, love and entertainment. Because of Seabrook’s unique setting I was able to spend quality time with every single person that I personally invited to celebrate my day with, for me these are the memories worth building a lifetime upon.
