Our family Seabrook adventure this Labor Day weekend & was the perfect place to enjoy the last long weekend of summer! My mother and I kicked off our weekend with massages at Spa Elizabeth and hands down they were the best massages we have ever had, we left the spa feeling like zombies in a stupor high from our 90 minutes of relaxation & made it next door to the Stowaway to recoup with a flight of bubbles and cheese! Once our energy was restored we finally checked in to our adorable home in the farm district. We thoroughly enjoyed people watching from our deck in the evening and enjoying the beautiful pasture.
The following day we made our way to Red Velvet Bakery to battle other visitors for the last sticky bun…kidding, but they were so delicious I was ready to head into battle! We enjoyed the Saturday market, buying local beef jerky and handmade art from the vendors. We spent the remainder of the day venturing around town on our tandem bicycle enjoying discovery the neighborhoods and what makes each one unique, it felt like an adult Disneyland! After discovering the Dungeness crab’s legs from front street market, we made a fantastic dinner and spent the rest of the evening enjoying our hot tub & gazing at the stars.
Sunday was spent at the Humptulips river at the local swimming hole, it was wonderful to spend the day out in nature enjoying the last rays of summer. After an exhausting day swimming we had a fabulous dinner at Frontagers chowing down on pizza, salad and the warm ricotta dip appetizer – I highly recommend!
On our last day, we sulked about town stocking up on sticky buns, cinnamon rolls & Dungeness crab legs from the local shops & headed back to reality with the intention to visit every Labor Day from here on out. Seabrook holds a special place in my heart bringing my family together & being part of such a welcoming community. It’s a little slice of heaven, hidden away on the Washington coast!
